I am Parsa Rasouli, a Computer Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Karaj, Iran. I bring a commitment to excellence, consistently maintaining a high GPA throughout my academic journey.
I have also acquired a diverse skill set, including proficiency in languages such as C, Python, SQL, and JavaScript, as well as hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. My passion for learning extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by my participation in industry-leading courses, including 'CS50 AI' and 'CS50 P' at Harvard University.
I was one of the co-founders of Chilik, a social media startup specializing in visual content and photography. Chilik was a social media startup that focused on visual content and photography. It offered a platform for users to share and explore photos, with an emphasis on high-quality visual content creation and sharing.
Chilik faced closure due to a combination of factors, primarily related to Iran's national policies and the absence of robust copyright laws. These challenges made it difficult to protect intellectual property and maintain the platform's sustainability. As a result, the startup had to cease its operations, despite the significant efforts and investments that we made in content creation and platform development.
Alongside my experience and passion in graphic design and user interface (UI) and user
experience (UX) design, which I spend 3 years on, I am also interested in
computer science areas such as:
computer vision, machine learning, image processing, deep learning, neural
networks
I have been actively involved in these areas as well, and you can see the Certificates
of relevant courses in the Certificates tab.
I have a passion for music that has been nurtured over eight years of playing the piano and the clarinet. Music, to me, is not just a pastime; it's an essential part of my life. In addition to my musical pursuits, I also enjoy staying active through sports. Tennis and soccer are two of my favorite hobbies, allowing me to balance my love for the arts with the thrill of physical activity. These hobbies not only provide me with relaxation and enjoyment but also showcase my dedication and discipline in various aspects of life.

The research in the field of music is rapidly growing, and this trend emphasizes the need for comprehensive data. Though researchers have made an effort to contribute their own datasets, many data collections lack the requisite inclusivity for comprehensive study because they are frequently focused on particular components of music or other specific topics. We have endeavored to address data scarcity by employing an instrument-based approach to provide a complete corpus related to the Persian piano. Our piano corpus includes relevant labels for Persian music mode (Dastgah) and comprehensive metadata, allowing for utilization in various popular research areas. The features extracted from 2022 Persian piano pieces in The Persian Piano Corpus (PPC) have been collected and made available to researchers, aiming for a more thorough understanding of Persian music and the role of the piano in it in subsequent steps.

The Persian Piano corpus is a comprehensive collection of Persian piano music, spanning from early composers to contemporary figures. It has been meticulously compiled and made publicly accessible, aiming to enable researchers to explore specialized investigations and contribute to new discoveries. The instrument-based approach provides a complete corpus related to the Persian piano, including relevant labels and comprehensive metadata. The features extracted from 2022 Persian piano pieces aim to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Persian music and piano role. (2023-11-13)
